Course Outline:
This course builds upon the fundamental principles taught in parts 1 and 2. The concepts in this part are drawn from Mulligan, Maitland and other Osteopathic frameworks to allow participants to become proficient and effective in applying mobilisation techniques. This course includes a small theory component and then moves region by region around the body adding in new joints not seen in the previous two parts.

- Atlanto-occipital joint
- Atlantoaxial Joint
- Ribs
- Advanced spinal techniques
- Advanced peripheral techniques
Course Learning Objectives:
- Be able to demonstrate a range of complex rib cage techniques on models with different morphologies
- Be able to demonstrate a range of complex atlanto-occipital and atlantoaxial techniques on models with different morphologies
- Utilise palpation skills to inform the application and modification of techniques and make them specific and effective
- Be able to demonstrate a range of advanced spinal and peripheral techniques on models with different morphologies
- Be able perform all techniques adequately by the end of the course and have sufficient confidence
- Utilise clinical reasoning skills in the selection of mobilisation techniques for a variety of musculoskeletal dysfunctions.
- Improve the use of body and posture in application of mobilisation techniques
