Day 2/ Course 2 Peripheral Mobilisation (8 hours CPD)

This forms the second part of a 3 part Spinal Mobilisation Diploma.  

  

Course Outline:

This course follows on from part one and develops the students’ ability to apply mobilisation techniques to peripheral joints.
This module will continue to build skills in problem solving and clinical reasoning based on the principles of joint mobilisation. 

 

 

Joints covered:

  • AC Joint
  • Shoulder
  • Elbow
  • Wrist & Hand
  • Hip
  • Knee
  • Ankle & Foot

 

 

Course Learning Objectives:

 

  • Be able to demonstrate a range of complex upper extremity and lower extremity techniques on models with different morphologies
  • Utilise palpation skills to inform the application and modification of techniques and make them specific and effective
  • Explain to patients the purpose, risks and process of a technique clearly and coherently.

 

Includes: Course notes, pre reading notes

 

CPD: A personal certificate of attendance with CPD hours will be issued upon completion. 

 

 

**Given the ever evolving situation with the Covid-19 virus whilst we will do everything we can to give you as much notice as possible if we have to postpone our seminars, there may be occasions over the coming months where we have to cancel seminars at very short notice. We will endeavor to reschedule affected seminars for later in the year. Unfortunately we’re not able to refund travel expenses related to cancelled/rescheduled seminars**
